How Do I Become a Member and Add Members from My Financial Institution or Affiliate Company? When financial institutions purchase the MISER system from FIS, they are immediately eligible for membership in the MISER Users Group (MUG). FIS pays your membership dues the first year you are a client, so make sure you ask them to do this. Your institution will be added to the database. Identify your primary contact. This individual will pay dues and become active in MUG. Only the primary member may add associates. Associates are typically other employees, who work with MISER and will utilise the networking and problem solving available through yourmug.org. Companies which connect to MISER but are independent of FIS, and have or want to acquire MISER clients, may join MUG as affiliate members. These members may add a profile and pay annual dues directly to MUG via this website. Affiliate members may also add more than one contact once dues are paid. To exhibit at the MUG annual conference, vendors must pay the dues plus the booth fee. Both active and affiliate members are billed in the last quarter of the year for the coming year's dues. How do I register for the Annual Conference?Active members from a MUG financial institution or affiliate vendors in good standing can register for the annual conference. The link to register for the meeting can be found on the annual conference area of the website. You will need your username and password to access the registration form. One registrant from each Financial Institution may attend at no charge. The Primary Contact can use this benefit for themselves or assign it to a member from their Institution by giving that person the discount code for the registration form. The primary contact will receive the discount code by email. What if “who” I want to go to the meeting does not have a member username and password? The Primary Contact must login to yourmug.org, then in the Quick Links (on the right side of the website) find Add an Associate. Here the primary can add up to five associates at a time. Please take note of the passwords assigned. As the primary you will need to provide your associates with the passwords. Once they login, they can change their passwords. How do I gain access to my subgroup?Subgroups are encouraged to use the Circles feature for communicating and sharing files. Circles were built for this purpose. Any member can create, join, post and share within a circle. Before Circles were created, subgroups were setup as committees. To access these areas from the Members Only menu drop-down select "My Profile." On your profile is a tab called My Features. Select the Committees drop-down, then choose the Subgroup you wish to be a part of. Once added to the Subgroup, you can go to the Committee Page through your My Profile and turn on your notifications. You have three choices and can use a personal email address for your notifications. Update them at any time. If you do not want any notifications and you have turned off notification you can go to the Committee tab and the information is available. How do I get a receipt? All of your transactions are stored on My Profile, under the transaction area. Go to Members Only drop-down, then My Profile, and then View Transactions to see and print your receipt. Click the Printer icon to print. How can I look up another MUG member? From the Members Only drop-down menu select MUG Member Directory. The most recent MUG Quick Reference Guide, which lists the primary contact, contact information and asset size according to member category for all members, can be found on the Members Only page. Did I miss an Email MUG sent me?All MUG emails are stored in MY Profile under MESSAGE HISTORY. Feel free to review them at any time, including if you need to access your dues renewal notice. How do I renew my dues?Only the primary contact member for your institution can renew dues. A link located under the Quick Links menu on the right side of the page is available to the primary contact. An email notification will be sent to the primary contact when it is time to renew the dues. How can we contact the office?I cannot remember my username and/or password? You can use the Forgot my Password option on the website at any login screen. You are also able to update your username and/or password at any time on the Members Only page, My Profile. What is the MUG Community Forum? The Forum is an opportunity to communicate with other users who may have similar challenges to the ones you face and may also have some solutions that could help you. Please use it to ask your fellow users about their experiences, fixes, tips, and advice.
